Talks About a Sequel for Alita: Battle Angel in Process, acknowledged by Rodriguez and Landau
There has been a number of talks going on about a sequel to the film, Alita: Battle Angel, from those involved in the process of producing the original 2019 film, Alita: Battle Angel, adapted from the manga known as Battle Angel Alita, authored by Yukito Kishiro or GUNNM, along with additional inspiration from the animated film adaptation in 1993, known as Battle Angel. The film was a marginal success, passing a breakeven point of $370 million stated by then 20th Century Fox, but only marginal at slightly over $400 million, but with the breakout success of Avatar: The Way of Water, the sequel to the 2009 Blockbuster, at over 2.3 Billion, and so far the highest grossing film post-pandemic, Talks have been had with both an associate Producer, Jon Landau, as well as the Director of the 2019 film, Robert Rodriguez.
Talks happened with Jon Landau 2 weeks ago, as acknowledged by Landau himself in interviews.
The interview in question was hosted by ComicBook.com, and can be viewed here:

Robert Rodriguez made some remarks this week on May 10, saying he was open for it whenever he got the greenlight from Producers to direct again.

All in all, my general attitude is this, the talks are ongoing, but the key to building hype for something begins early. It begins before the announcements are officially delivered. It begins by being a fan and delivering on your fanmade content early on, so that when the announcement does come, there is some material out there already for the hype. And for this reason I deliver weekly episodes now, showcasing material put up by Fans of Battle Angel Alita on YouTube.

As for the rest, I don't mind if a sequel happens or not, I enjoy the manga and the video game, and that's a good reason if any to share my hobbies with others. I plan on continuing to do so, for the foreseeable future. In the meantime, I plan on remaining active on this blog and look forward to keeping everyone up to date as I go with my new situation as a YouTube Partner and a hobbyist. Have a good night, stay safe out there, and I will be signing off.
