        Alright, so here we are with a new start to GUNNM : Martian Memory in livestream!  I will be playing GUNNM : Martian Memory, the sole console video game made for the manga known as GUNNM or Battle Angel Alita.  The title of the game literally translates into Battle Angel Alita : Memories of Mars, and the game is based off the manga by Yukito Kishiro about a Cyborg Girl recovered from the garbage and restored to life, which was also adapted into a live action film in 2019 starring Rosa Salazar and Christoph Walz.  In this game, you are given a complete story for the manga which diverges from the manga story so far in which you play through the story as Gally or Alita through the beginning after she is assembled following recovery from the Scrapyard all the way to the return to Mars and discovering her true origins.  

    The series of livestreams should be pretty fun for those who have enjoyed the manga, and the game was originally released in Japanese, although modders have made an English translation of the game, made available a few years ago.  I will say, and the #AlitaArmy, will invite you to view a playing out of the story for Battle Angel Alita.   Let the game begin!  August 21, 2026 at 1:30pm EST
