Empire Earth II on Mac OS!
Empire Earth II on Mac OS!
Hello, this is Kaos Nova and this is another entry in my Kaos Tutorials series. In this case, I was taking a look at Empire Earth II using Codeweavers Crossover to play it on Mac OS. Empire Earth was a real-time strategy game with a 3D engine in which players command a Civilization, comparable to the Age of Empires series of games from Microsoft. In Empire Earth, players play through scenarios or on custom maps and command armies and research technologies to guide their civilization through Epochs (Think Ages in Age of Empires) beginning as early as the Stone Age and potentially advancing as far into the future as colonizing other planets in DLCs. In this case, I'm giving a brief rundown on how to play the game using the GOG.com version.
The process is simple, run the GOG.com installers, as the picture will show below, and then make sure you have the correct Advanced Settings checked off for Empire Earth. Without much further ado, the game should run very smoothly except for some animations such as hurricanes in the weather or nuclear explosions. Otherwise the cinematics and gameplay run great!
Conclusion
Now, you should have a great time playing Empire Earth II on Codeweavers Crossover! Also provided are guides for Age of Empires II : Definitive Edition, Age of Empires III : Definitive Edition, Fallout : New Vegas, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, in addition to a guide for Installing Steam. In
