Playing System Shock 2 in 2025!

 

 

     Alright!  Hello there, here is a guide for System Shock 2 in the current year!  As the year reaches its close, there are some issues with trying to play System Shock 2 on Mac OS using Codeweavers Crossover 25.1.1.  However, there is an alternate way to play SS2 on Mac OS using the Porting Kit and the version of the game provided by GOG.com.

 So, go into The Porting Kit using the GOG.com installers, and go through the screens clicking that you have the Installer provided by GOG.com using the captcha in the Porting Kit.  Hopefully, System Shock 2's issues get resolved with newer versions of Crossover 

    With all of these steps completed, you should have a great time playing System Shock 2 on The Porting Kit! In conclusion, I would like to invite you to check out the Forums on Codeweavers.
