Having Black Screens While Playing Red Alert 3?  Here is a possible solution! 

    So, if you are running Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 on Mac OS either through an installed Red Alert 3 Bottle, or through running Red Alert 3 through Steam, and you have the game running with a Black Screen but still hear the audio from the game, here is a possible solution!  The trick lies in the Advanced Settings of the Steam Bottle.  First, let's take a look at the Advanced Settings Tab after selecting the Bottle in which Red Alert 3 is found, either the game or the Steam Bottle.  So, head to the game's bottle, or to the Steam Bottle if you have the Steam Version of the game, and activate the following Advanced Settings.

 

 

Set Graphics to "Auto", set Synchronization to "Default" and set High Resolution Mode to "Off". The game should now run just fine on Steam or in the game bottle with the following Advanced Graphics settings set up.
