Guide for Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 and Uprising Expansion on Mac OS!

Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 and Uprising on Mac OS!

Yes, you can play Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 along with it's expansion, Uprising on Mac OS, using Codeweavers Crossover.  This Porting Software emulates Windows on Mac OS, allowing numerous games to run on the Mac OS operating systems.  To get started, first make sure you have installed Steam correctly in Crossover, using the guide shown below.  The Installation of Steam is as a Windows 10, 64-bit bottle.

Now that you have Installed Steam, installing Red Alert 3 is easy through Steam if you have purchased the game, and the game should run well.  In Steam, Red Alert 3 and the Uprising Expansion install separately, but both run well as of Crossover 24.0.5.

With all of these steps completed, you should have a great time playing Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 and the Uprising Expansion using Codeweavers Crossover!  In conclusion, I would like to invite you to check out the Forums on Codeweavers.  Entries for various apps have forums and Tips for getting the Applications to work!  I also have additional guides on this blog, for The Elder Scrolls Games of Daggerfall, Daggerfall Unity, Morrowind, and Oblivion, along with The Fallout games of Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and Fallout 4.  If you are available to actively test and rate the compatibility of various Applications on Codeweavers Crossover, you may want to consider becoming a Bettertester!  As a Bettertester, you regularly test Apps and can be rewarded with Bettertester Points to buy merchandise or even extended subscriptions to Crossover, saving money you would need for renewing your subscription!
